Amazing service and great staff

After being passed around between different garages, I finally found one that was able to identify what they believed was the main fault and carried out the repairs, including lower arms on both sides, a tie rod and other work. They were also more than happy to check everything over again for my peace of mind, and I appreciated the care and attention they showed me.I was happy with the service and didn't mind paying more for that level of care to start. However, after the work was completed, the car was still pulling and the steering was off-centre. I was advised that if it wasn't right, further work, including new coil springs, could potentially cost another £850 on top of the £1,000+ I'd already spent.As I don't know much about cars and was dealing with this on my own, I decided to get a second opinion and showed the other garage the invoice. They checked everything over and said the springs looked fine. They then moved the tyres around and this actually corrected the problem as i had on new one. They didn't charge me as it wasn't much of a job.So although I was genuinely happy with the first garage's customer service and the care they showed me, especially when I was struggling to get the issue diagnosed elsewhere. However, looking back, I do feel that if I hadn't sought a second opinion, I could have ended up paying another £850 for work that wouldnt have fixed the actual problem.Ultimately, the full issue wasn't resolved by the work carried out, and I'm grateful I got another opinion before spending any more money. I think it's only fair to share both sides of my experience.

Took my car to them as I kept getting Miss fires, they inspected the engine and give me the results which were not what I was hoping but helped me decide the best option which was to get rid of it. The SMART and alloy repair for my car was perfect. The work and colour match was that good that you can’t tell that it’s been repaired. When it comes to the experts on vag group cars volksmaster are the leaders at working on them and also repairing them, the team are amazing from reception to workshop to the valeters, their prices are fair and the turn around on repair was one of the quickest from sourcing the new part to the fitting it, i would highly recommend them if you have a vw audi seat, these guys know their stuff thanks again for an amazing service your number is now a permently saved in my phone thanks again for the very fast turn around

UPDATE JUNE 2026: My van was fixed today at Volksmaster Oldham. It had developed a fault where it was blowing out black smoke when accelerating. Volksmaster undertook an inspection and a smoke test. Identified a problem with my intercooler and the manifold air intake. They replaced the intercooler and then rechecked the air intake. All sorted. Van is fully fixed and working perfectly again. Great service and expertise from the Volksmaster team. Many thanks.June 2025: My T5 van had full service and timing belt changed. All work carried out expertly, on time, and for a reasonable price. Easy to book and the appointment made was within the week. Check in and pick up was all no drama. Van is running as sweet as a nut. Excellent - I would recommend.

Due to my neighbour backing into my car I had to get a repair carried out by volksmaster.5 days without a car and bad knees doesn't help.Friday afternoon paid the full amount for the work.On inspection at volksmaster I picked up on things that were not correct.The technical guy?agreed with me and said it would be done and I booked it in for the Monday morning.Picked up the car 13.30 all sorted the car had been washed and cleaned.,much cheaper than main dealer and no upselling.Impressed

Much better than the main dealers who employ undertrained staff and mechanics that at best would be called trainees and charge a fortune for the privilege!All work they do is is registered on the VW/Audi portal and doesn't invalidate your warranties unlike some other garages!I have used two of the Volksmaster site, but Oldham goes the extra mile and serve you a brew!! (Thanks guys!)Don't use a main dealer -use Volksmaster - highly recommended!

They went above and beyond by returning my car cleaned, which was a great surprise as I was only expecting the service. Jordan also took the time to run through everything that had been checked, along with any additional work carried out and the reasons why. That gave me real confidence in their workmanship and customer care. I'd happily use them again.

Amazing experience with this company, they were quick to provide a quote for body work repair and respray (smart repair). The prices were highly competitive, so much so they had the cheapest option in Manchester.They was able to carry out the repair within a day, dropped off before 9am and collected by 5pm.The work carried out was amazing, no signs of damage, the bodywork is like new.The staff were very professional, approachable and knowledgeable and happy to answer additional questions I had.

I needed ADAS calibration on my car, rang them on Friday, got booked in for Monday, and it was all sorted within a couple of hours from dropping it off. Fixed price too, which was great. Really happy with how easy they made the whole process!

Took my car into Volksmaster recently and honestly couldn’t fault them. Nathan, the technician, was brilliant — clearly knows his stuff and took the time to explain what was going on, which I really appreciated. Jordan was great too and even pointed me in the direction of a nice café nearby while I waited, which was a small but thoughtful touch. When it came to collection, Kat was lovely and made everything easy. The whole job was turned around in just two days, I had a courtesy car with no hassle at all, and everything was exactly as promised. Great place, great staff, and a genuinely stress-free experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Volksmaster and will definitely be back.

I had an incredible experience at Voxmaster. My van’s turbo had just been replaced elsewhere, but it wasn't responding and the coil light kept coming on. I was told by the other garage that I needed a new oil pump, which was going to cost me nearly £1,060. I went to Voxmaster prepared to pay for the pump, but the lady at reception gave me the honest advice to get a proper diagnosis first. I’m so glad I did! Nathan diagnosed the vehicle and found the real issue, saving me from spending a fortune on parts I didn't need. Truly honest, professional, and highly recommended!

Took my VW Caddy here for an interim service. The whole process from start to finish was very professional. The video of my vehicle being inspected by the engineer, highlighting all the major points of the engine, steering, brakes, exhaust, tyres and suspension was very insightful. Inside of the cab cleaned and polished as well. I will definitely be returning for future servicing.

Was passing Volksmaster garage and saw it was open, so called in to see if they could sort my puncture out and even though they were very busy they did it straight away for me.
